Mary Jo Gamble entered in the legal secretarial field in l966, at a time when, as fate would have it, Nick Critelli was the law clerk in the firm for which she was employed, and, for the first time, she met six-month-old Tre’ Critelli. As Nick went on to practice on his own, Mary Jo joined him as his secretary in 1972. Along with Lylea and Tre’ they have been a team ever since.

Mary Jo has been an visiting instructor for Des Moines Area College and American Institute of Business in their legal secretarial programs. She is a contributing author for the Merriam-Webster’s Legal Secretarial Handbook and an Honorary Member of the Iowa State Bar Association. She has also been a past presenter for the Institute of Law Firm Management national seminars.

Mary Jo and her husband have two adult children and three granddaughters. Aside from the law firm, she is very active in her church activities and she and her husband have enjoyed several travels together including heritage travels to Croatia and work-related travel to London, England.
