As of this date, 89 cities, towns or counties (e.g. Seattle, Flagstaff) within the United States have passed resolutions against the USA Patriot Act. One city, California's Arcata, has gone so far as to adopt an actual ordinance against utilization of the Patriot Act by its city officials and law efforcement officers.
