ABA YLD Presentation: Opposite Sides of the Litigation Pond

Those of you attending the ABA/YLD Spring Conference in New Orleans, LA, (May 15 – 18, 2003) may have heard panelist N. Tre Critelli’s presentation on the transatlantic practice of law, “Opposite Sides of the Litigation Pond.” More information concerning Barristers can be found at the website of The General Council of the Bar. The session looked at the differences between the two common-law litigation systems and focuses on the experiences of attorneys, solicitors and barristers in the London offices of U.S. firms and the U.S. offices of UK firms.
